Why Tour vs. Rental

  1. It is safer to take the tour.  You will not get lost, stuck or stranded.  Our tour guides are first aid certified, know their way around Grand Mesa and will ensure you end your day safely back at the lodge.
  2. You do not have to read a map or try to figure out where to ride.  You safely follow your guide with no fear of becoming lost or stranded on the massive Grand Mesa.
  3. Your tour guide can answer questions you may have regarding the history and topography of Grand Mesa and the surrounding vistas.
  4. You do not have to purchase gas or oil for the machines.
  5. You will receive photos and videos as a keepsake of your adventure at no additional charge.
  6. Imagine you are out on a rental, the weather changes, you become disoriented and do not know exactly where you are.  Worse yet, you are stuck or broke down.  How would you find your way back to the trailhead?  How long would it take for someone to come out and rescue you?  Would you have communication devices to call for help?  Remember, cellphones do not typically work on Grand Mesa.

Our summer activities are available from June thru September.  Winter tours are open again from December thru April once enough snow has fallen to offer snowmobile tours, ice fishing, and more.
